| Senior Accountant This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys consistency and organization in a busy but casual environment. Apply your accounting expertise by ensuring the integrity of all transaction posted to the general ledger. Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant. This position is a 14 month term to cover a maternity leave. Responsibilities included: • Bank reconciliations • Pre-paid continuity schedules and reconciliations • All monthly accruals • Capital Assets maintenance • Electronic Funds Transfer verification • Review and approval of all other journal entries within the department • Expense report audit and reconciliations. This position reports to the Accounting Manager, who counts on the integrity and reliability of the information posted. Ideally you are in the 3rd or 4th level of a recognized accounting program with superb technical accounting knowledge. You have proven experience with financial statement support and above average attention to detail. Experience with audit and/or AccPac would be an asset.
