Exciting diversified payroll and accounting opportunity in a multi-jurisdictional environment! Our client a national food services provider is looking for a well rounded payroll and accounting professional to join their team. If you are looking for a position that provides variety in a highly accountable environment this may be the next step in your career!

Your duties will include:

• Processing of bi-weekly salaried and hourly employees payroll located throughout Canada utilizing one of Canada’s leading payroll solutions
• Preparing and reconciling all statutory and benefit related remittances
• Posting related journal entries
• Liaising with employees on payroll related questions
• Process all year-end functions – T4’s and T4A’s
• Preparing a variety of sales reports
• Weekly support to the Accounts Payable process.

You have completed formal payroll training recognized by the Canadian Payroll Association combined with a minimum of one years experience processing payroll in a multi-jurisdictional environment. You are familiar with and comfortable researching labour standards in a variety of provinces. You possess superior communication skills, are meticulous with details and have a high level of discretion. Your experience includes benefits administration with a third party vendor. In addition you have general accounting knowledge exposure to the Accounts Payable process and excellent Excel skills.
