| Regional Sales Manager - MB SK This position acts as the primary liaison between GrowthWorks and the distribution channel (both financial planners and investment advisors), in leading the team to develop and execute a strategic regional sales plan in order to meet established targets in sales of GrowthWorks Funds to investment advisors and financial planners in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. What you will be doing: - Developing solid one-on-one relationships with investment advisors familiar with GrowthWorks, making sales presentations as necessary. - Increasing the base of support for the sale of the GrowthWorks Funds, network and cold-calling as necessary to expand the existing database of investment advisors (focusing on those who have the potential to be top sellers of GrowthWorks Funds). - Creating and executing strategies to assist top investment advisors in communicating the message of GrowthWorks to their client base (by conducting seminars and workshops, providing promotional material, etc.). - Creating awareness of GrowthWorks throughout the community by participating in Business forums, guest speaking at Board of Trade/Chamber events, interacting with industry associations - Managing the annual budget as part of the established sales plan, and conducting an annual profitability analysis for the top investment advisors to ensure budget dollars are appropriately allocated. - Attending national sales meetings (by teleconference) to exchange ideas and experiences with the national sales team. - Maintaining up-to-date industry and company knowledge by attending investment committee meetings, sitting in on company presentations, reading industry journals, researching alternate sales strategies etc. If you have: - Undergraduate university degree - Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course - Successful completion of the IFIC Labour Sponsored Investment Funds course - Minimum of two years experience as a regional sales representative or four years of experience as an inside sales representative. - Thorough knowledge of mutual funds and other securities - Financial planning experience is an asset - Proven public speaking and presentation skills - Willingness to travel extensively throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan as required This Is Why You Need To Join GrowthWorks And Venture Into Success!: We are honoured to be recognized as a top employer by being included in two esteemed lists for 2007: the 30 Best Employers in British Columbia published in the Vancouver Sun and Victoria Times Colonist in October 2006 and the 20 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada, published in the Globe & Mail in January 2007.
