| IT Systems Professional - Point of Sale GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Working knowledge of computers and Windows Operating System is an asset, with an ability to learn and understand proprietary POS systems quickly. A positive friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity is a necessity. The potential candidate(s) must have good communication skills, and be both self-motivated and work well in a close team environment. SYSTEM SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS Troubleshooting skills with outstanding problem solving skills is a must. Candidates must have the aptitude to listen and effectively understand a situation with the ability to respond with clarity and professionalism. We require this individual to provide pleasant and professional customer service via telephone and remote access connections. This position does require travel (8-10 days per month) and on call dial in support during and outside of regular business hours (1 week per month rotation). TRAINING REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate(s) will be required to work with clients on site during installation and training and over the phone to resolve POS related problems/questions after the installation. Training will be provided, including system setup, installation, customer training and support. Upon completion of training, the candidate(s) will be expected to manage several POS projects from the sales handoff to live date. Successful candidate(s) must be able to travel and have a valid driver’s license. AM/PM Service provides a competitive compensation package that includes benefits.
