SENIOR TECHNICAL EDITOR (Data Management)

SENIOR TECHNICAL EDITOR (Data Management)

This position will provide leadership and guidance to the Manual Updates Team.
ACTIVITIES:
1. update activities in accordance to the established schedule.
2. progress reports to management.
3. review and edit completed work.
4. work with other Technical Editors and departmental leaders to investigate content issues and supply appropriate solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Post secondary education in Technical Communications.
2. Mechanical Technology or several years experience as a leader in a Product Data Management position.
3. Well organized and detail oriented individual.
4. Excellent editing skills and the ability to effectively manage competing demands under pressure.
5. A sound understanding product data and document lifecycles with working knowledge of Oracle structured BOMs is required.
6. Knowledge of engineering PDM systems such as Teamcenter would be an asset.
7. Excellent command of the English language and a strong mechanical aptitude is required. Working Knowledge of MS Office is required.
