We were founded in 1992 as the sales & marketing arm of a Canadian employment services firm and in 1994 became an independent corporation and started on our path to become both a provider and source of innovative solutions to businesses and professionals throughout North America. THE OPPORTUNITY As a Business Profiling/Lead Generation Associate (BPA) you will be profiling businesses to generate leads for BDM Research & Marketing Associates and Business Development Representatives. You will be responsible to: • Profile assigned companies via online research and by telephone inquiries to obtain specific information required for business development and employment services activities • Enter the information onto a pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet, and • Email companies to provide information about solutions offered by BDM and it's partners relevant to their business • Maintain accurate records of your activities and keeping applicable lists and logs up-to-date COMPENSATION With the exceptional BDM Associate compensation structure you'll earn an above average income working from home doing very satisfying work that ultimately helps jobseekers to connect with employers and benefits both parties, yourself and BDM. You'll have the opportunity to be trained for multiple roles and to grow and develop your skills in a variety of areas. And as much of your work is conducted via email and online, you have unmatched flexibility in determining the days, time of day and number of hours you work each week. QUALIFICATIONS To qualify for this opportunity you should have experience with online research and email, a home computer with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel), and at least 2 years of previous work experience working from home or in a sales support or marketing role. In addition you must: • Have excellent written and oral English and strong reading comprehension • Experience using the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office applications • Demonstrate a professional and friendly interpersonal manner • Be highly disciplined, self-motivated and able to work effectively without supervision Strong preference will be given to candidates who have related experience or training.
