Account Executive

Position: (Full Time) Account Executive
Reports to: General Manager
Station:
Location: Winnipeg
Application Deadline: November 1, 2009

Basic Purpose: To develop and manage a list of station clients with passion and integrity
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop new client relationships and business for the station
• Manage receivables
• Report to the General Manager
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
• A passion for modern/alternative/new rock music
• An understanding of the sales process and client needs in a customer focused environment
• Min. 2 years sales experience, preferably radio but not necessary
• Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• The ability to work as a member within a true team environment
• The drive, enthusiasm and passion it takes to succeed
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Essential Requirements:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with keen attention to detail
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
