Municipal Engineer

Your expertise would be applied in the following areas:

Providing project engineering, modeling, analysis, and design services on multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on urban storm water management and water resources projects.
Participating in studies, assessments, modeling, preliminary and detailed design.
Develop cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, tendering of urban water and sewage systems of varying sizes.
Liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors.
Contract administration, including preparing reports and proposals.


Key qualifications include:



A B.Sc. or M.Sc. – Civil Engineering with eligibility for registration with APEGM
Demonstrated progressive experience in municipal engineering
Experience with running computer models such as EPA-SWMM/PC-SWMM/XP-SWMM, and/or Infoworks CS, HEC-RAS, and EPANET/Watercad
Strength in Project Management – a PMP designation is a definite asset!
Strong technical and proposal writing skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
