LOGISTICS SCHEDULER Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling of all outgoing shipments for all product lines. The Logistics Scheduler converts sales orders into scheduled loads which includes planning and arranging of load shipments; liaising with sales, production and customers regarding full, partial and LTL shipments; as well as preparing bills of lading and packing slips. This position is also responsible for close out’s and backorder procedures. The ideal candidate has a one to two years experience in a related field along with a Business Administration certificate or diploma. Experience in the steel manufacturing environment is a strong asset. Having or working towards an accreditation in Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (CITT) is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a requirement. Solid communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, attention to detail, time and priority management skills are necessary for success.
