CORR-SPAN® FIELD ASSEMBLY SPECIALIST Reporting to Vice President of Operations, the successful candidate will develop and present training courses to CORR-SPAN® Erectors at various offices and job-site locations across Canada. Conduct on-site erection performance audits; provide remote technical support to jobsites by phone, webcam or email; report deficiencies and recommend corrective measures; and recommend product improvements to Behlen. This role requires: • A minimum of five (5) years experience with erecting and supervising erection of CORR-SPAN®; Honco, or S-Span buildings • In-depth experience with all aspects of CORR-SPAN®, Honco, or S-Span erection training • Grade twelve or equivalent education is required; o Completion of courses focusing on Steel Building Erection and Construction Safety is required. o A related Technology Diploma or Engineering Degree (preferably Structural or Civil) from a recognized post-secondary institution is beneficial. • A record of dealing with and managing unique assembly issues and product applications; • Knowledge of and experience with building erection health & safety standards and requirements. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a requirement. • Solid communication and interpersonal skills; A problem solver that is resourceful innovative and creative. • Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success.
