The Mill Senior Metallurgist is responsible for supervising and mentoring the facility’s Technical Services department as well as setting its annual budget. The Technical Services department is responsible for initiating and executing projects dedicated to improving Mill productivity, profitability and environmental performance. This department also performs all of the Mill’s metallurgical accounting functions as well as conducting ongoing metallurgical troubleshooting. The Mill Senior Metallurgist will be responsible for the development, monitoring and compliance with all safety aspects for the MTS team. The incumbent must communicate effectively to plant workers, department management and executive management in a team environment. Team will consist of 8 members. Position Requirements: • Candidate must possess supervisory experience Educational/Experience Requirements: • 8 years of Industrial experience • Chemical, Metallurgical or Process Engineering Degree (P.
