In order for the Manitoba Operations to be a reliable, predictable producer, our assets need to be fit for purpose and properly maintained. This will require the successful implementation of Front Line Planning & Scheduling and Asset Management Framework. The Maintenance Specialist II is part of the operation-wide team accountable for the delivery of the planned performance of the plant. The role will support the drive towards more effective and efficient operational standards contributing to operational excellence. The Maintenance Specialist II will provide analytical support to the operating plants regarding service strategies employed to ensure asset reliability and reduce process variation. They will need to be educated and experience in functional failure mode, finding and developing strategies for reduction or elimination. The Maintenance Specialist II will identify and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate functional failures. This role reports directly to the Reliability Engineering Coordinator. Education/Experience: • Certified tradesperson plus 5-7 years work experience in related field • Technologist Diploma from Community College or Technical Institute with 3-5 years work experience in a related field.
