| Project Coordinator Description: The Project Coordinator will ensure the successful execution of assigned projects while maintaining the constraints of COST, SCHEDULE & DELIVERABLES. The incumbent will assemble and lead teams to carry out detailed designs, coordinate construction, commissioning and final project close out. The incumbent will review, analyze and present alternative solutions in projects. The incumbent will work as a valued team member of Central Engineering and the various project teams. Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects simultaneously of various sizes up to a single project value of $10,000,000. The incumbent can be assigned to specific tasks as required. The incumbent, if qualified, may assume engineering responsibility for work that by law/code requires the seal of a qualified engineer. Position Requirements: • Must be knowledgeable in Engineering Standards, project execution and construction procedures and processes. • Must work with area people, operations, and maintenance to ensure that intent of work is met. • Must be able to prepare all various types of paperwork associated with projects namely requisitions, schedules, estimates specifications but will look for direction where needed. Education Requirements: • Community college graduate with an Engineering Technologist diploma and 5 years experience and education towards a PM (Project Management) certification. Or • Community college graduate in a qualified trade with a minimum of 10 years working experience and education towards a PM (Project Management) certification Or • Engineering degree from a Canadian University (or recognized equivalent) with 5 years experience License Requirements: • N/A | |
