| Underground Supervisors Description: You will work collaterally with peers and cross functionally with colleagues in engineering, geology, maintenance and services to achieve the objectives of the mine. You will be responsible for supervising the production work components of your mining crew. In this role you will be working on shift, holding the team accountable for safety, behavior, housekeeping, teamwork, and professionalism. You will carryout tasks as assigned by the General Foreman to achieve the overall targets for their area of responsibility. You will work within budget, guidelines and standards and execute safety and production plans. Position Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of underground supervisory experience • 3 years experience in underground trackless mining • 10 – 15 years mining experience • Able to work in Canada - Canadian citizen or landed immigrant status Education Requirements: • Grade 12 or equivalent. License Requirements: • Ontario Underground Supervisory Common Core (asset but not pre-requisite) • Ontario Hardrock Mining Common Core (asset but not pre-requisite) | |
