Regional Accountant - Winnipeg Do you have a creative side that needs to be unleashed? Would you like to add value to the decision making process while using you superior accounting knowledge? Our growth oriented client requires a Regional Accountant who can think outside the box and support the ongoing success of the business units within a region. Primary responsibilities include: • Monthly financial statement preparation including all working papers and variance analysis; • Assisting the regional management and administrative teams to interpret reports and make decisions that will impact on-going operations; • Ongoing support of the corporate accounting team; • Integration of acquisitions as required; • Ad hoc reporting and analysis; • Special projects as assigned. This position will be best suited to a designated individual or someone in the final stages of an accounting program who is self directed, curious and loves to ask questions! You are known as a life-long learner who thrives on change and continuous improvement. You have the ability to build trust within your region as well as the local team. Your knowledge and application of GAAP is above average, and you have a demonstrated knowledge of the application as it applies to complicated accounting issues.
